Improper health and sanitation are some of the top reasons for death in our country. A large part of our society still defecates on open grounds. Poor women don’t have access to hygienic pads. As a result, every tenth death in India is due to poor sanitation.

‘Ummeed- Roshni Ki’ works towards spreading awareness about health practices. We channelize government help and donations to build toilets and ensure their continuous use. Moreover, our volunteers educate women about menstrual health. They strive to end the myths and taboos concerning menstruation. In addition to it, we also provide pads to them regularly. We aim to build a healthy environment by minimizing improper health and sanitary methods.
